Practical evaluation of CAMM by Leonie Wolf et al.
Findings will be reviewed and incorporated into an update of CAMM
Leonie Wolf and her colleages from Fraunhofer SIT, Germany, carried out a first third party evaluation of CAMM against established design principles for maturity models. Leonie has kindly offered to collaborate with us. We will therefore discuss the findings with Leonie and incorporate them into an update of CAMM.
Their evaluation against the design prinicples reveal a number of shortcommings. In addition, they applied CAMM to a simple real-world scenario in order to confirm their issues. The authors propose concrete improvements to CAMM to enable more consistent and reliable assessments of cryptographic agility.
